Getting started with Zellerfeld. Your first steps
Zellerfeld lets creators design, launch, and sell footwear without traditional tooling, inventory, or minimums.
If you are new, start here. This is your overview of the process!
Step 1. Set up your account and team
Your account is where your brand, projects, and earnings live.
If you are working with others, you can invite collaborators and set permissions. If you are solo, you can move on and return to this later.
→ Read: Account and Team Setup
Step 2. Create your brand
Your brand defines how your work appears on the platform. Add your name, description, and basic details. This does not need to be perfect on day one and can be updated later.
→ Read: Creating or Changing your Brand Information
Step 3. Understand how the creator model works
Before uploading, it helps to understand how pricing, earnings, and payouts work. This sets expectations around margins, timelines, and what happens after a customer places an order.
→ Read: Production pricing, earnings, and payouts
Step 4. Prepare your first design
Zellerfeld uses automated checks to validate designs for production. Reviewing the upload guidelines before you start will save time and reduce iterations.
This is where most creators spend their early time.
→ Read: Designing and Uploading
Step 5. Upload and iterate
Upload your design in Studio and address any autocheck feedback. Most first uploads require a few rounds of refinement. This is expected and part of the process.
If you are blocked, use the Help Center or Studio help to get unstuck.
Step 6. Order samples if needed
You can order samples to review fit, finish, and comfort before launch.
→ Read: Samples Cost and Lead Time
Step 7. Launch your product
Once your design is ready, you can schedule and launch it. After launch, customer orders are produced on demand.
→ Read: Launching and Selling
Step 8. Track orders and earnings
After launch, you can track orders, production status, and earnings directly in Studio. Payouts follow the production and delivery cycle.

We're excited to have you on this journey with us and can't wait to see your design!
