Zellermesh Surfaces
Open Mesh or “ZellerMesh” is optional for new designs, however we HIGHLY recommend utilizing it within your designs. It creates a much softer, more comfortable interface for the foot.
You should upload the STLs with the surfaces that define the ZellerMesh regions. Find the requirements below.
Surfaces Requirements:
- STL file size less or equal to 50 mb
- Should not be watertight
- Tolerance: individual meshes parts have areas larger than 1 squared mm.
- Is a copy of shoe surface region, defined by sharing the same shoe polygon faces. Should stop at collar (not share faces)
- Mesh should be above the texturemap reference surface (green surface above - download from templates)
FEEDBACK STLs
Autocheck exports the mesh faces from the zellermesh surfaces in 3 contexts:
- Mismatch with shoe faces:
- right_zellermesh_mismatch_faces.stl
- left_zellermesh_mismatch_faces.stl
- Intersects collar surface:
- right_zellermesh_overlap_collar_faces.stl
- left_zellermesh_overlap_collar_faces.stl
- Faces below reference surface:
- right_zellermesh_below_midsole_faces_plane.stl
- left_zellermesh_below_midsole_faces_plane.stl
